I'm happy with the high quality of every product that I've received, i.e. eggs (the deep orange yoke color shows that they are from pastured chickens), chop meat, cheese, chicken thighs, egg custard. And you have excellent customer service; you respond to every email or phone call usually the same day, or the next day at the latest.
What an amazing farm!
My experience with Nature's View Farm was wonderful. The farm is only 5 minutes from our home on Main street in Leola. I was very impressed with the way our order was packed with care and had extra styrofoam to keep the hamburger frozen and the cheese cool. The fellow I first meet was friendly with a smile and Miriam who helped me with the order was very friendly and kind. It is a very nice looking farm and easy to drive into the large driveway. I guess because this was our first order, I was surprised with a generous serving of egg custard, which is one of my favorite desserts and the best egg custard I have ever tasted. I was also given a sample of chicken wings, which I plan to make some bone broth with. I plan to be a repeat customer, because the farm is close to our home in Leola, the farm looked orderly and clean and how friendly the farmer and his family were when I drove out to pick up my order. The food is pricey, but I got the impression that the food they sell is carefully managed and packaged for sale.
Our farm is a family operation.
Days on the farm begin before daybreak, it’s an all-hands-on deck story. Our youngest kids spend the afternoon collecting eggs and naming new calves, while the older ones help move the cattle. Our boots are often dirty, but our hearts are always full.
We feel incredibly lucky to live a life close to the land. It’s our hope that through our family’s farm, we can share this experience (and the resulting food!) with you: our community.
